Okay, I'm officially on the bandwagon. I'm obsessed with Cara Delevinge. I resisted for so long because she's everyone's girl to love but I finally gave in. She is SO. COOL. Here are some of my favorite images of her. I wouldn't say she's a style icon of mine because I'm not that much of a risk taker and hate beanies, but I would say she's more of a life icon. She's always so fun, happy, joyful, carefree, and easy going - things I'm always striving for.

Style Icon: Jenna Lyons
"As far as I'm concerned, leopard is a neutral."
-Jenna Lyons
A girl after my own heart! If you didn't know, the wonderful Jenna Lyons is the present Creative Director and President of our beloved J.Crew powerhouse. Essentially, she is the women we love to hate because she continually creates clothing every season we have to have. So good for our closet, bad for our wallet. Not only is she the genius behind the brand, but her own personal style should be regarded in its own right. Known for menswear inspired looks, killer heels, and standout thick-framed glasses, in my opinion she can do little wrong. My favorite looks from her are featured above. I've noticed one of her signature looks is a pant with an amazing fit paired with pointed-toe stilettos. One of my list of must-try outfits, along with sporting my menswear glasses with everything (They're Brooks Brother's mens glasses. I kid you not). Not to mention, her shoe collection is to-die-for and if you haven't seen this video I featured earlier, you will leave with serious envy. Ms. Lyons is a serious force to reckoned with in both the business and fashion world. And one of my personal style icons!
Head on over to J.Crew to find similar styles to the ones above. Currently having 40% off final sale items! Hurry!

Style Icon: Audrey Hepburn
Oh, Audrey.
Isn't she every girls icon at one point? I feel in love with her when I was in the 10th grade approximately. I had heard of Breakfast at Tiffany's and had told everyone I loved her, so I eventually watched her films. The obsession really took hold when I got a short haircut one year and a sweet friend told me I look liked her. I really don't think there is a more flattering compliment out there.
Back to Audrey: how can you not adore this lovely, endearing, classic, and timeless woman? She oozes elegance on and off screen. Every time I watch Funny Face (a personal favorite) I am envious of her perfect posture and dark eyebrows. But alas, I still wake up every morning hunching over and with dark eyebrows but no perfect face for them to frame. If I can never decide what to wear, I think: What would Ms. Hepburn do? I reach for my cropped black pixie jeans, flats, and a simple top. As you can see above Audrey's style was perfectly classic, even in her later years. In the future I hope to add the perfect trench and LBD to my collection just like her. And hopefully cut my bangs again. What are your favorite Audrey moments?

Style Icon: Olivia Palermo
Olivia Palmero has quickly become one of the most watched names in fashion. And for good reason. Her effortless, impeccable style can't be beat. Not to mention her flawless hair. I'm talking flawless. I was never a fan of The City (the MTV reality show with Whitney Port) but I find myself now obsessed with her style. Her outfits are constant inspiration for me. Think classic yet chic, neutral yet full of life. She knows how to rock all black and that Barbour?! I wish I could pull that look off with mine. Below are a couple photos of this fabulous It Girl and one of my style icons.

Style Icon: Blair Eadie
Y'all, it is cold today. I'm talking biting, hurts-your-face kinda cold. I've been bundled up trying to stay warm going to and from class. But all I've really wanted to do is snuggle up in bed, watch tv, and blog. Sadly this can't be done and I'm off to the library in a bit. College can sometimes stink you know? (well, not really)
Today, I'm sharing with y'all one of my absolute favorite bloggers. Blair Eadie. She is everything I hope to be one day: fabulous, chic, classic, and fierce. This girl knows her style and rocks it, everyday. Although my style is not exactly the same, I admire her courage and willingness to try different trends and mix high/low styles. She was recently interviewed on The Coveteur and the images are to-die-for. For the first time we got a look into her home and private life, one that she so often keeps to herself. Which I admire greatly. But its not to say that I didn't enjoy hearing about her boyfriend and peeking into her chic home. Here are a couple images to inspire you and to (hopefully) make you a fan as well.
Stay warm!
xx
p.s. I couldn't resist posting some of her personal posts as well. One with my favorite Valentino shoes!
