I'm going to hop on the blogger train and say: I want, no, need these loafers. The whole collection is absolutely wonderful and witty which you can check out here on M'oda 'Operandi. But my absolute favorite are the ones pictured above: #drunkinlove. I am a huge Beyoncé fan and I would love to show off how much I love then, where else - my feet. Although this purchase will not happen anytime soon I can't help but dream. Drunk in love, indeed.

The Perfect Shoes for Fall
So I have been on a boot hunt lately, trying to find the perfect new boots for this season. After tearing my boots up abroad and a brutal winter, it was time for some new kicks. I love a challenge but let me tell ya, finding the perfect boot is tough. Especially when you have exactly what you want in your mind. The black leather Madewell boots above were my ideal (and I bought them) but had some hesitation due to comfort. Nevertheless, I couldn't find anything similar so I am slowly wearing them in, hoping they will be more comfortable as time goes on! And since I was thinking about shoes so much, I thought it would be nice to produce a round-up of fall/winter shoes that I have loved in the past. I have not owned every single one of the shoes above but have had something similar that I have loved.
Dolce Vita boots: I have tried these on for fun - AMAZE / Madewell boots : go a half a size up / Vince Camuto nude flats: easiest shoe ever to throw on / Converse white low top sneaker / Kork-Ease studded platform shoes: I want these SO badly / Seychelles wedges: so fun, no? / DV by Dolce Vita booties / Steve Madden loafers: a classic.

Never in a Million Years
Never in a million years did I think I would write a post about comfortable yet stylish shoes. If that's even a thing. But alas, as I've gotten older and the more I've done, my feet haven't held up. Especially after going abroad and walking everywhere, I can barely last three hours in heels, much less a whole work day. With that said, I love dressing nice for work and heels are always my go-to for that. But how do you do that when all the pairs you already own just plain hurt? Well, Zappos it is (I love how specific you can sort everything). Here is my definitive round-up of the cutest shoes under the "Comfortable" tab on the site that will hopefully cure my foot blues. Have any of y'all had this issue? Thoughts? Suggestions?
Clockwise from top:
1. The Miz Mooz Rio, $80
2. The Eric Michael Hilary, $90
3. Born Julianne, $90 (really digging the sky blue for some reason)
4. Born Maldives, $100
5. Born Filomena, $85
6. Clarks Caslynn Regina, $85

The Chelsea
The Chelsea boot. Have you heard of it? I hadn't or even seen then until I went to London actually, then I fell in love. I saw stylish men and women wearing these flat, ankle booties everywhere. I immediately thought, where can I get my hand on those?! Sadly, everywhere in London was too expensive for my college budget. But, upon arriving home I found the perfect pair at Urban - chocolate brown and classically chic. And at a terrific price of $35. Now I love these boots, but I'm looking to invest in a nicer pair that will last a few more years. Any recommendations? I'm doing my research and here are few classic and alternative options I've found.
1 Topshop, $90
2 Zappos, $375
(Men's actually but my favorite!)
3 Asos, $130

SJP + Carrie Bradshaw + Shoes
OH MY GOSH.
Y'ALL.
I stumbled upon absolute perfection the other day and couldn't wait to share it: Sarah Jessica Park is designing a collection of shoes for Nordstrom. {let that sink in} THE SJP (aka Carrie Bradshaw) is designing shoes we can wear. When I found this out I screamed! Not to mention this feature on The Coveteur. The images, writing, shoes, video-everything is too fabulous! I would love to get my hand on a pair of these!!! I'm sure these will sell-out fast so scoop yours up! The shoe collection debuts February 28th with prices from $125-400. Not to bad when you're buying a piece of fashion history. These shoes are flirty, sexy, classic, and easy. Someone please tell me how SJP managed to fit all those things into shoes. I can never find a pair of classic, mid-height sexy shoes. But alas, the search is over! So far my favorites are the adorable pink ones with a flower on the toe. Anyways, I'll let y'all swoon over these images now.
OH! Almost forget. Here's a to-die-for video that can't be miss here!
